Facebook is quickly becoming one of the most popular social media sites on the internet. With that in mind, many businesses are creating social media sites to help get the word out about their product. One leader in the social media industry, mRELEVANCE is pleased to announce the launch of Rockledge Atlanta's Facebook page.
The popularity of Facebook will greatly enhance the appeal of the Rockledge Atlanta apartments' page. It will be a tool for future residents to connect with one another before moving in, as well as help connect current neighbors, in an innovative and unique way. The page will also serve as a customer service tool for the apartments, offering the ability for residents and potential residents to post comments, photos and other information about life at Rockledge Atlanta. This is such a great idea for building community and friendships in this neighborhood.
Residents can also view pictures of the luxury apartments on the Facebook page. The page already includes pictures of apartment interiors and the serene natural surroundings of Rockledge Atlanta, including the beautiful stone walkways winding between buildings and the Chattahoochee River, which runs beside the complex. It's definitely great to see Rockledge on Facebook.

Smart Builders are focusing on Industrial Re-Development
A recent NAHB Sales & Marketing Ideas article written by real estate public relations practitioner, Carol M. Flammer focuses on revitalizing former industrial areas. Flammer is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of mRELEVANCE, a public relations, Internet marketing and social media firm.
Some of these industrial redevelopment projects have turned into the most sought after real estate in the country. Transforming these abandoned historical sites into vibrant, highly demanded residential areas takes a lot of work and investment. Smart growth is important to the economy and to the neighborhoods where these abandoned industrial sites are being transformed. Recently, four companies in the southeast took the initiative to revitalize their communities and create desirable housing and economically stimulating jobs.
West Town Atlanta, Ga. Brock Built
Brock Built, known for environmentally friendly construction and Smart Growth is working on is a 43-acre industrial revitalization project, West Town. It will have 42 single family homes and hundreds of townhomes, condominiums and apartments for a grand total of 1450 homes, priced from $150,000 to $600,000.
Eagle and Phoenix Mill Lofts Columbus, Ga. WC Bradley Real Estate
WC Bradley Real Estate Company has renovated the Eagle and Phoenix Buildings, an old industrial mill. The condominiums are spectacular, retaining the rustic luster of the factory’s original purpose, but still mixing hip elegance into the amenity filled complex. Lofts are priced anywhere from $150,000 to over $1 million.
Cigar Factory Charleston, S.C. The Simpson Organization
An Atlanta based real estate investing firm purchased Charleston’s Cigar Factory to transform it into a desirable loft-style home building. Lofts start at $400,000 and up to $1.4 million, with full amenities packages and luxury options.
Belmont Dairy Portland, Ore. Shiels Obletz Johnsen, Inc.
The Belmont Dairy Community, formerly an old dairy farm, was transformed by Shiels Obletz Johnsen, Inc. into a thriving community with retail space, restaurants, specialty shops and plenty of pedestrian friendly streetscape.

Social Media Expert Quoted in Builder Article
The reccent Builder Magazine article, “Work the Web,” describes some tips to help your web site to work for you. In today’s marketplace, your web site is how your business gets attention on the Internet. Search engine optimization helps potential employees find you and your services online. Curry notes the importance of search engine optimization to match the key phrases that consumers use to find what they want and need. Carol M. Flammer, MIRM makes a great point when she says to keep your site relevant. Flammer, an expert in Internet marketing, public relations and social media, says that the best way to optimize a site is to know what consumers are searching for. For example, instead of your company’s name, a person will likely look for “new homes Atlanta.”
The goal is to have your site come up on the first page of search results, says Flammer, managing partner of mRelevance, an Atlanta-based online and social media marketing firm. The best way to do that is to keep your site fresh and relevant, “not just updating listings,” Flammer says. The best way to know how people are looking for new homes or neighborhoods is to check your site’s tracking report to see what search terms people use to find your site. If you incorporate the content people are looking for onto your site, your web page will come up on searches more often. As Curry states in the article, “the good news is that if you don’t have the skill set to do this yourself, there are plenty of companies that do.” Contact mRelevance to learn more.
